Well-equipped room with incredibly beautiful views over the town and surrounding landscape. A lot of facilities such as: central heating, a work desk, and television. The best location to Museo de la Radio. Easy to find, near a castle and a church.

i was here for 1 night and ate at attached restaurant from local bar and restaurant. the view over the town and surrounding landscape from the window was magnificent. location: the hotel was not far from the castillo de los templarios, castle and old part and the historic plaza. stopped by liebana ecoffee to get some coffee and treats, it's close to the venue, recommend.

Simply nothing too much trouble, good stay. Well-equipped room, beautiful view over the town and surrounding landscape. Location very close to the main town square. For shots visit Vinomio bar & Botanico, nestled within 10 minutes' walk of the hotel.

My recent stay at a hotel on the Camino was incredible. The staff treated me like family and were so accommodating. The spacious rooms had comfortable beds that I didn't want to leave. The bathroom facilities were great with plenty of hot water. The cafe/bar served delicious coffee and had a nice selection of complimentary snacks. The restaurant had amazing food, especially the Bacalau, and the service was friendly and efficient. Plus, they offered dinner earlier than other places on the Camino, which was a welcome surprise. I highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional service, comfortable rooms, and delicious dining options.

El Castillo was located next to the Templar castle and near the Camino. It is located near the older part of Ponfarrada.
Room was on the busy street side and noisy at night.

If you enter Ponferrada from the north, getting to the hotel is ever so easy: just keep on driving straight and you find it. The hotel is opposite the Castle, near lots of restaurants and bars, but far enough to be quiet at night for a good night sleep.
